Least Favorite People on the Right

Forty-six bloggers (including yours truly) were polled by John Hawkins on whom we consider to be our "Least Favorite People on The Right."

Here is the resulting top ten list (click here for top 25) , with the number of votes for each name in parentheses:

10) Arnold Schwarzenegger (12)
7) Mike Huckabee (13)
7) Pat Buchanan (13)
7) Ron Paul (13)
6) Chuck Hagel (14)
5) Arlen Specter (15)
4) Colin Powell (17)
3) Peggy Noonan (18)
2) Ted Stevens (19)
1) John McCain (25)

I will reveal my personal top ten tomorrow, but I can tell you that five of them are in this list above.

Do these people deserve to be on this list? Who else should be on it?

Damn skippy they deserve to be on the list. I am so sick of pseudo-conservatives that want to "reach across the aisle" when we all know that means we real conservatives are about to bend over and grab our ankles. McCain is absolutely the worst of the lot. His failing as a leader was magnified by his inaction against his own minions attacking Palin in the aftermath of his failed campaign. The best thing for this party is that this namby-pamby, effete loser can't run for POTUS again.

Chuck Hagel would be first on my list. He's an embarrassment to all conservatives in Nebraska, of which I'm one.

I am perturbed but not shocked that the so-called conservatives polled put Ron Paul on the list. They must be irritated, because a) he always tells the truth, particularly with respect to economic principles and b) he has known the wars abroad have been more detrimental to our country than beneficial. Hamilton is dancing with glee in his grave at the state of our economy and government. Jefferson is rolling daily in his grave.
