No One Wants the Capital Gains Tax Raised

Well, except for Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

A new Rasmussen poll shows that 65% of Americans are opposed to raising the capital gains tax and only 16% (presumably those who don't own stocks) favor it. Even 50% of Democrats oppose raising the tax. I really don't get why Clinton and Obama are pushing in the other direction.
