This Day in History - April 23

On April 23, 1969, Sirhan Sirhan was sentenced to death (later reduced to life in prison) for assassinating RFK.

On April 23, 1998, James Earl Ray, convicted of assassinating MLK Jr., dies in prison.

How about that? It's like a good day for revenge.
