John McCain's New Country First PAC

John McCain (remember him?) has launched a new PAC called Country First. Good for him. But with all due respect to him and his service to the country, I cannot imagine giving him a single dollar considering whom he would be likely to give it to and what causes he would be likely to promote - see the members of the Republican Main Street Partnership.

Riley of Virginia Virtucon amusingly writes:

McCain has made a career out of trying to drive money out of politics. Let’s help him out by NOT giving any to him.

Does anyone think it is possible that the disastrous McCain-Obama financial gap, caused in large part by McCain's career itself, has at all changed McCain's mind on campaign finance? Will he admit that he was wrong?

Before T- Mobile fired Charles Barkley , they must have made one last commercial, this time featuring not only Miami’ s Dwayne Wade, but also the Orlando Magic’ s Dwight Howard as well. Hopefully, once Barkley gets his life back together, he will regain this endorsement.
