To My Readers: I Need Your Feedback!

Ok, this is very important to me, so please consider taking a couple of minutes to help me out today. Don't count on others - you yourself can help shape this blog.

As always, no blogging on the weekend, but instead of my usual "Blogs for the Weekend" feature, I would like to ask you, my readers, to send me any thoughts you may have about this blog. Most of you have joined me within the last six months or so, when the site traffic really started going wild, but seeing that I've been blogging for just over a year now, we could call it my annual review. I would appreciate anything from a single sentence to a big paragraph, sent either to paul(AT)paulibrahim(DOT)com or via the Contact page (you can also use the latter to send me anonymous feedback if you prefer).

I would especially appreciate it if you could answer the following, even if briefly:

  1. How/when did you find this blog?
  2. How often do you usually visit this blog (hourly, daily, etc.)?
  3. Would you prefer if, per day, I wrote (a) 3-4 long (more analysis) posts, (b) 10+ posts that simply link to good material or consist of a video/photo, or (c) some middle of the road combination of the two?
  4. I have been spreading out my posts mostly between 6:45AM and 8:00PM. Do you think these hours (a) are best, (b) should be spread out even more, or (c) should be condensed closer to workday hours?
  5. Do you care much that I don't blog on weekends?
  6. Separately from the above questions, would you prefer if I posted more, or fewer, videos per day? How would you feel if the majority of posts were videos?
  7. Though most of my posts are political, I usually throw in entertaining and interesting posts that bear either tangential or no relation to politics. Would you like to see more or less of these?

If you have time, please answer these secondary questions as well:

  1. What part of my ideology, or which of my positions, are you most attracted to or turned off by? (as if the latter is possible)
  2. Do you like the design of the site? Is there anything you recommend adding, changing, etc.?
  3. Do you care whether comments on individual blog posts are available?
  4. Where do you usually visit this blog from (home, office, class, etc.)?
  5. Are you in school, employed, retired, a homemaker, or other?

Of course, these questions are by no means exclusive. The most basic question is, what is the most important thing that you would like to tell me about this blog? And what do you like the most about it? What do you like the least about it?

No matter how long it takes, I will read each of your comments (even if I can't respond to each), and the more, the better. I look forward to your feedback, and I thank you in advance.
