An Overview of Time's Incredibly Investigative Photos of Obama
If you haven't seen Time's careful work of investigative journalism and cut-throat reporting about the Obama presidency, then you must: Obama's 100 Days: Behind-the-Scenes Photos.
The Pulitzer-deserving masterpiece includes such National Geographic-warranting shots as Obama opening a door and Obama moving a chair.
Of course, the objective reporting cannot overshadow the spot-on analysis. The caption for this photo of Obama leaning back in his chair reads: "Obama gathers his thoughts during a meeting with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner. He often spends several moments in silent reflection before making a decision."
Did you get that? Obama spends several moments in silent reflection before making a decision! How many people do you know who can do that? No one I know can reach such a meditative state and then make a reasoned, balanced, well-thought out and certainly perfect decision that will help the American people for generations to come. Certainly not that ghastly barbarian Bush who only made ideologically-driven decisions on impulse without giving sensible consideration to any alternative arguments whatsoever.
And that is not all. As is unmistakably clarified in the caption for this photo recording a meeting with generals, "During this meeting, the President asked each officer [to] present his views." Stand in awe, all you who read this, because the One has voluntarily lowered himself and asked people he is meeting with about the subject matter he is meeting with them about. What a benevolent, considerate soul it must take to diminish oneself in such a manner, especially since his unsurpassed intelligence and infallible instinct render any advice utterly unnecessary.
And surely the Time reporter could not turn a blind eye to this letter by Obama promising that he will personally do his best to "make sure" that people get the "very best education possible." Not the states, not Congress, not even his administration - just Him. Praise the One! The solution had always been there in the Oval Office desk's bottom drawer on the left, but we finally have someone in the White House who promises to "make sure" to apply it.
Obviously, a focused, in-depth article wouldn't be complete without the element that finally sheds light on Obama's policy agenda, contacts, and work ethic: his shoes (which are, of course, separated by at least 12 inches from everybody else's shoes, because of the invisible halo).
How to thank Time and the mainstream media for providing us with such non-stop, first-class journalism from the day Obama began honoring us with his run for the presidency of this arrogant country of ours? Well, perhaps a thanks from the President himself is enough, as demonstrated in this photo of him reading a physical newspaper - clearly the voice of the future.
